"Man… I loved this stay. First and foremost, Toru is an amazing host. Very kind, informative, accommodating and responsive. Secondly, the neighborhood is awesome. If you want something close to the center of things in Shibuya but still quiet this apartment is about a 7 min walk to a 10 min express train to Shibuya. The streets are very quiet and safe. The main area of Shimokitazawa is super cool. Think Williamsburg, Brooklyn like 15 years ago. Or Silver Lake/Echo Park in LA. Lastly, the apartment itself is a really good size by Tokyo standards. It had everything I needed and I had enough space for the overpacked luggage I brought. I will definitely stay here again."

"We stayed at Toru's for 2 weeks in April 2025. The apartment is cozy, clean, and well-appointed. It is in a remarkably quiet area. Toru san is a wonderful host. Excellent responsiveness and communication. Toru san gave us many good recommendations for things to see and restaurants in the area. The Shimokitazawa neighborhood is a very nice part of Tokyo. There are many cool bars, shops, and restaurants in walking distance. Shimokitazawa has a strategic location with fast and easy connections to Shinjuku and Shibuya. We would definitely stay here again in the future!"

"Stayed at Toru's place for over 10 days, and would highly recommend it for several reasons: first of all, Toru is a great host who makes sure you've got everything you need. Second, the location is really peaceful and quiet, but also very accessible through the Shimo-kitazawa station. One can get to Shibuya and Shinjuku in less than 10 minutes from the station. There are also great restaurants nearby, plus convenience stores. All in all, I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Tokyo."

"Toru is first and foremost a lovely friendly guy. He was incredibly helpful and the place lived up to expectations. I would thoroughly recommend staying there. My only regret was not taking him out for a drink because I think we would have had a great time. Just one word for digital nomads - the Internet is asymmetric so although the download speed was super fast upload speed is a bit slower. This is no problem for most people but it is worth noting."
